Altered CD!

Hello everyone! Here is a altered CD! This was inspired by Creative Inspirations: Challenge #56- Altered CD and Just Buggins challenge #33 April Showers: Make a spring themed project. Here is a little on how I altered the CD. I handmade the rose with gift wrap tissue paper and crepe streamer paper and I dipped the rose in hot wax to give the rose a gloss shine. I cut (2) circles with the Cricut Expression for front and back of CD and glued them to CD. I embossed the circle with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I used my Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite to punch holes around CD. I ran tulles though hole on CD. I glued the butterfly, flower, lace, ribbon with beads and gems to CD. This rose was my grandma's favorite paper rose to make. She made these all the time in different colors. Have a great week everyone!

Message reminder project!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Here is a project I've been working on this week. I got the watermelon letterhead paper from the Dollar tree store fourty sheet for 1.00. When I seen this paper I knew I wanted to make a laminated magnet message reminder card for the refrigerator. I laminated the watermelon paper with the Your Story. I added some magnetic tape on the back of the laminated watermelon paper and I bought some magnetic Dry Erase Markers.
Everyone of my friends seen it and now they all want one for their refrigerator. These are really easy to make. Get some pretty letterhead paper like I got and laminated it and it can be wrote on over and over again! I like it because I can write down important message and it can be erased. I got the Magnetic dry eraser markers at Wal-mart. I cut the Summer out with the cricut and glued it to letterhead paper. I hope you all like it.
This paper is so pretty! Im going to make a lot of these! Enjoy your weekend everyone!
